ONE QUASTION. how do you interpret the fact you have to pick a patron deity in the character creation screen? what's your wol's relationship to their patron deity? do they even know they have one (do they have one?)? how does this translate for non-eorzean native wols? that's actually more than one Quastion. sorry!

#i developed it quite extensively with irma but didn't do it too much for v'rhym #he loves learning the lore and practices of the places he travels to #so he definitely learned about the twelve and visited the temple in the shroud and loved it #i think he picked oschon for himself because he went like Oh he's just like me fr! HAHA #(+ the wanderer's minuet being part of the bard rotation...)#which made it so insanely funny to do myths of the realm #“big fan of your work” “no me!”

My designs aren't really specific breeds per se, but Holzmann is certainly inspired by Oriental Shorthairs. They just feel very him

#the kingmaker histories #klaus holzmann #margot engels #my art #primarily my designs aren't specific breeds because i find breed standards so limiting in terms of colors proportions and personalities #(though cat breed personalities are Very vague compared to dogs)#too many colors stuck within certain breeds. so many limitations in facial feature and body and coat type combinations #since cat breeds have only existed in the last ~200 years the number of breeds and their diversity is verrry limited #dog breeds are wayy more interesting and meaningful. the sheer quantity of them and their extensive diversity and variety of mixed breeds #means there's plenty of options. though i havent done my research about them (esp. with personalities)#so you won't see an anthro dog AU from me unfortunately...#tho absolutely my designs are Based on certain breeds. idk the breed standard so maybe he's off in some way but from an amateur perspective #telsie might as well be a purebred british shorthair (factoring out being an alien lol)#and colette was originally based on oriental longhairs but i normified her sooo hard in the head department IDEK what she's closest to now #that concludes the first part of my tag essay. second part:#(danny don't read any further! there's spoilers!)#MARGOT. i wanted to draw her but wasn't really sure how she'd look... so this is just a first pass (and of course catified)#(yes i sketched out her human face first to figure out how to catify it no you may not see it) (yet?)#i decided to hc for now that she did get herself fleshcrafted to look less like holzmann. that seems like a reasonable assumption #so yeah her og cat facial features fur texture etc. were a lot more similar to holzmann #as for her pattern: she's a black mackerel tabby sepia here #(rare phenotype but some australian mists are similar if you want an irl ref. they aren't mackerel tho)#i imagine originally she was a black mackerel tabby and white. and had blue eyes #(probably with more white on her than holzmann. it's quite unlikely for him to have blue eyes with such little white spotting on his face)#but yea this all may be subject to change if we get a canon hair/eye color for her #damn holzmann... why are you so ears!!! 😂#(he could be earsier. i showed restraint)

#bh6 globby #globby #globby bh6 #big hero 6: the series #normally im not too crazy for chibi designs #bc of the babyish proportions and the way they can sometimes sand down the interesting elements of an original design #but the Big Chibi 6 designs are growing on me... i think they're cute in a way that isn't Too Much #if that makes sense #i deeply appreciate how yucky disgusting he acts in the chibi shorts. it's everything i wanted and more #it's so fun seeing them and knowing they were made in s1 #it was also interesting trying to find a middle ground between his design in the shorts and his regular design #namely trying to figure out how to get his lack-of-a-neck without making it seem awkward #since in the shorts there is a clear seam between his big bobble head and the rest of his body. but in the series it is seamless #it reminds me of how i first drew him months ago before extensive screenshot studies and practice #was fun nailing down the proportions here #anyways. that's quite a lot of yap from me o7 #my art

He has friends! Don't worry! He's friends with justn0t's ShadowVanilla kid, Panna Cotta! (She's not... Well, she might not win the "Friend of the Year" award, but. He's still fond of her, despite her flaws.) He's also friends with kiraisrika's MysticCacao kid, Choco Powder (example!). They get along pretty well, I'd say!

He's also best buddies with my PitayaFire fankid, whom I have not posted yet because I'm still trying to iron out his design lol. Also, he gets along well with plenty of kids among both the Golden Cheese Kingdom and the Wild Spices, as well as other places. Jack isn't having any issues socializing, don't worry haha

(I'll try to draw him playing with other kids though. To put everyone at ease. He has friends, I promise 😭)

#Matar Paneer is his best friend too. They're close as can be. Something something Esil, Haein and Juhee would in fact make the best group of besties ever because all they want in life is to have a normal life (Haein being away from constant work, Juhee learning to live with her trauma, Esil living for something more than what she was designed to do), unfortunately they met the most abnormal guy in the world. Nein, in the universe.

#they absolutely love their abnormal guy tho hes a cutie pie #just love in general im not talking about ships right now. they do care for him as a person which is cute #they are also the kind of people that they would need as well.#like Haein needs friends who understand what it is like to live with so much strenght and face advercities to protect the people around you #esil understands that very well and Juhee has always felt shared that burden as healer since shes in chargevin everyonebtruly making it out #alive.#Juhee wants to enjoy life to the fullest without the feeling of the constant dread from the past creeping in. Esil and Haein. though they #are far more powerful than her. have a general sense of what it is like to know there sre things stronger than you that you cannot control #And Esil for the most part wants to feel connected with others outside of her own world. Her memories outside of this world are unreachable #but she still wants to surpass that. While Juhee and Haein may not understand the latter they are human in the end and thus they too would #and though they may not understand the latter. the other two do crave having closer relationships or are open to the idea.#Juhee is also not much if a high ranked hunter so as to produce a lot of mana like the other hubters around Haein. and Esil is a monster.#whenever or not she has the dame kind of mana as magic beasts is quite up to debate actually #Haein can also learn to train with esil who has more expirience about monsters. and Haein and Juhee can train at Mr Songs dojo together #Esil can show Juhee (and Haein by extension) a new perspective on magic beasts. helping her slowly adapt those fears into strengths.#solo leveling #solo leveling spoilers

#I ran out of tags so this gets to be it's own #tag talk #he's a little heavy with the cologne I'm gonna have to bring it up sometime. because I can still smell it on my jacket and it's really stron #he got in my car and I wanted to roll the windows down but it was cold so I just managed.#but I'm a firm believer that people should smell like real life. like. shower reasonably. sure. but so what if you're sweaty. that's normal.#I can't stand perfume or cologne lowkey. and I'm also prejudiced against deodorant.#I guess if you've got a medical condition or something that makes you stink? but even then.#there was a dude at my last job who stank from some sort of hormone/gland issue and sure at first it was off putting #but I just got used to it. it was just how he smelled. so what. and people wouldn't shut up about it. So annoying #like. three months in and they were still like “omg do you smell that?” yeah of course I do. so? shut up and put up with it.#idk. I just find human smell to be far less offputting than a strong chemical smell scientifically designed for maximal nostril penetration #like. sweaty human is a person smell. if you smell like work? that's a story. it means something. you smell like pets? that means something #you put on perfume? idk it feels artificial and fake somehow. like someone who wants the dark academia aesthetic without reading books #also just.. strong perfumes feel so impolite because you don't know who has sensitivities to that shit.#anyway. I'm just a little hater. I've got a weird habit in recent times where whenever I play an open world game, eventually I just start wandering around the map thinking "if the Clans in Warriors lived here, how would the territories be divided up? where would their camps be? where would they hold gatherings and commune with their ancestors?" and thinking about this in a fantasy-esque game lately has really made me long for a version of Warriors that does take place in a weirder, more fantastical world. obviously not to say there's anything wrong with the canon setting, but it is certainly a fun AU to ponder.

#great news for no one but myself: i figured out perfect camps and territories for all five clans in the game I'm playing :)#in the newest section of the map anyway. not the full map that thing is way too big lol #also i say ''whenever i play an open world game'' but i think I've only done this with three games #and I've only thought about it extensively for two of them #anyway it's just a fun little activity when I've been playing for quite a while and I'm winding down and getting ready to turn it off #sometimes it's just fun and relaxing to wander around in a game and think about the landscape #and warriors has had such a chokehold on me for so many years that it's bound to enter my thoughts #pigeon mews

i dont think kaveh and alhaitham were romantically involved back in the akademiya. and in fact i believe that the repressed pining particularly from kaveh's part made their friendship breakup worse
